DAV Partners with Solace Health to Improve Veterans’ Care
Disabled American Veterans (DAV) announced a new partnership with Solace Health in February 2026 to help veterans navigate the complex healthcare landscape. This collaboration addresses one of the biggest challenges veterans face: coordinating care between VA and private insurance systems.
The Challenge
Many veterans receive healthcare from multiple sources—the VA, private insurance through employers, Medicare, or Medicaid. Coordinating between these systems can be confusing and time-consuming, leading some veterans to miss out on benefits they’ve earned.
What the Partnership Offers
- Help understanding which system covers specific treatments
- Assistance navigating VA Community Care referrals
- Support coordinating prescriptions across providers
- Guidance on appeals and claims processes
Why Coordination Matters
When veterans struggle to navigate healthcare systems, they may delay seeking care or give up entirely. This partnership ensures that administrative complexity doesn’t become a barrier to the healthcare veterans need and deserve.
Getting Help
Veterans can access DAV’s services at no cost. DAV has been serving veterans since 1920 and helps more than one million veterans each year with benefits claims, transportation to medical appointments, and employment support.
“Veterans shouldn’t need a law degree to access their healthcare benefits. We’re here to help.”
For All Who Gave All works alongside organizations like DAV to ensure veterans in our community receive the support they need. Reach out to learn about local resources.
